MU's Stephen Rowley finished second at 10,000m to cap the opening day of the AARTFC Outdoor Championships, Wednesday at Williams.

Rowley ran in second place throughout much of the race for moving into the lead with four laps remaining.

He slipped back to second two laps later and eventually finished less than one second out of first place.  Ryan Weber finished 12^th and Ryan Shulman was 19^th.

Matthieu Brunelle (7.15m) finished fourth in the long jump and Thomas Bricker (15:04) was 11^th at 5000m.

Action resumes Thursday at noon.
