The seventh-ranked Misericordia University women's soccer team remained undefeated with a 1-0 win over Texas Lutheran, Sunday afternoon in Belton, TX.

Olivia Maniskas scored the game-winner late in the second half as the Cougars improved to 6-0.  Maniskas settled a throw-in near midfield, turned and played a ball to Lily Heistand near the top of the box.  Heistand touched the ball back to Maniskas who outran two defenders and slotted a shot inside the right post for the game-winner.

The MU defense held the Bulldogs without a shot on goal while recording their fifth shutout of the season.

Maniskas nearly got the Cougars on the board early in the game when her shot caromed off the left post in the ninth minute.

The Cougars threatened again midway through the second half, but Alyssa Steenback's shot in the 66^th minute hit the crossbar.

Maniskas finally cashed in on MU's final shot of the contest at 78:13.
