The #11 nationally-ranked Misericordia University women's soccer team battled to a scoreless draw in a non-conference game at Eastern, Tuesday afternoon.
Lauren Mondor earned four saves in the effort to pick up her sixth clean sheet of the season.
Olivia Maniskas was the most productive Cougar on the pitch as she racked up five shots, including four on goal.
The first half saw few opportunities for both teams.
Misericordia's best chance of the first half came at 19:29 when
Alyssa Steenback passed a backheel pass to Maniskas, who slotted the ball just wide of the left post.
The second half saw more opportunities for Misericordia. Maniskas hit a great ball to the left side that ended with diving save by the Eastern goalkeeper.
Mondor produced two great saves in the last 10 minutes of the game to keep the score level, including a diving stop to her left at 85:27.
MU's he best chance of the night for the Cougars came at 87:42 when an Eastern clear attempt was deflected by

Caelan Gallagher whose shot from the six-yard line rolled just inches wide of the right post.
Misericordia will travel to FDU-Florham for their MAC Freedom opener, Saturday.
