The Misericordia University men's volleyball team split a pair of matches on the second day of the Eighth Annual Cougar Kick-Off Classic, Saturday on Doc Mould Court.
The Cougars dropped the opener to nationally-ranked Wentworth, 3-2, and swept Drew, 3-0, in the finale.
Jackson Fehnel and Chris U'Glay were both named to the all-tournament team.
MU took the opening set against Wentworth, 25-20, but dropped the next two, 28-26, 25-23.
The Cougars stayed alive with a 25-23 win, but the Leopards won the decisive set, 15-12.
U'Glay had 15 kills while Fehnel had 14.
Joe Kozak had five blocks and
Noah Reen added four blocks.
Andrew George had 22 assists and
Richie Ragonese had 10 digs.
Against Drew, the Cougars won 25-19, 25-16, 25-17.
Reen had seven kills and three aces and
Isaac Griffin had six kills.
Evan Schmidt had 16 assists and George had 14.
