The Misericordia University men's volleyball team dropped a pair of matches at the Yellow Jacket Invitational, Saturday at Baldwin Wallace.

The Cougars lost, 3-2, to #7 Santa Cruz and fell to Mt. Union, 3-1.

MU took the opening set against Santa Cruz, 25-20, but Santa Cruz took the next two sets, 25-15, 25-13.Â

Misericordia stayed alive with a 26-24 win, but Santa Cruz won the finale, 15-11.

Jackson Fehnel and Chris U'Glay and 12 kills each.

Benjamin Clendening and
Joe Kozak both had five blocks apiece.

Against Mt. Union, Fehnel had 10 kills and U'Glay had eight.
