The Misericordia University cheer team recently held its 18th Annual "Cougars for a Cure" football game.

Under the leadership of team members Allyson Moyer and Regan Hawkins, the event helps bring together the Misericordia community, students, and families to raise awareness and support childhood cancer research.
 
Leading up to the game, the team sold t-shirts with all proceeds going to the St. Jude Children's Hospital.
 
During the game, additional donations were collected with a total of $1,234 donate d to St. Jude's Hospital.
