Misericordia University Athletics

The Misericordia University field hockey season came to an end with a 2-0 loss at Stevens in the MAC Freedom semifinals.

In a defensive battle throughout, the Cougars were limited to just three shots.

Stevens got on the board early when a shot in front deflected high in the air and fell inside the top of the cage just 3:16 into the game.

Neither team generated any serious scoring threats for the remainder of the first half.

The Ducks added an insurance goal on a penalty corner midway through the third period.

Jordan Nonnemacher made three saves in goal.
