The Misericordia University women's swim team opened the MAC Championships by qualifying 14 individuals for the finals in three events, Thursday morning at the Graham Aquatics Center in York.

Tori Ellex (23.73) finished first in the 50 free to lead seven Cougars into this evening's finals.  Cali White and Brianna Foote were sixth and seventh, respectively, while Maddie Cunningham and Angelina Dechert made the B Final.  Jaelyn Baxter and Kaylee DePietro reached the C Final.

Tamsin Formon (5:19.32) was third in the 500 free prelims and Taegan Williams made the B Final.

Peyton Stauffer (2:14.42) was sixth in the 200 IM and will be joined in the final by Lindsey Rice.

Caroline Kovacs made the B Final and Taylar Fisher and Allison Grosvenor both made the C Final.
