Misericordia University swimming standout
Peyton Stauffer and head coach Zander Taylor earned individual awards at the MAC Swimming Championships.
Stauffer was named MAC Women's Swimming Rookie of the Year while Taylor was named Coach of the Year.
She earned All-MAC status in two individual events and three relays and was part of two school records at the MAC Championships over the weekend.
She finished second in the 100 free and set a school record while finishing second in the 200 free (1:56.44).
Stauffer swam the anchor leg on the winning 200 free relay that also set a school record (1:36.37).
She was part of the runner-up 400 relay and the 800 free relay that finished third.
In addition, she finished fourth in the 200 IM.
Taylor led the Cougars to a 10-2 record during the regular season and a runner-up finish at the MAC Championships.
