The Misericordia University STUNT team opened the 2026 season with three games at East Stroudsburg University, Sunday.
 
The Cougars beat Randolph in the season opener and Northeast Conference opener, 12-0.  MU executed in all for quarters to earn the win.  Zoey Jones was the Player of the Game while Emma Conner was the Tumbler of the Game and Ally Moyer was named Stunter of the Game.
 
MU lost to East Stroudsburg, 24-13.  The teams split evenly in the first and third quarters, but the Cougars struggled with pyramids and tosses in the second quarter.  Misericordia rallied in the fourth quarter with nine points.
 
Audry Weiss was the Player of the Game and Aliyah Tillman was the Tumbler of the Game.  Gabby Leibman was part of the high-point routines in the first and fourth quarters was the Stunter of the Game.
 
MU dropped the finale to Malone, 25-10.
 
The Cougars started strong and earned the first point of the game on their most difficult partner stunt.
 
Misericordia came alive and finished strong in the third quarter by earning three of the four available points.
 
The Cougars claimed five of 12 available points in the fourth quarter team routines.
 
Anna Mellody was the Player of the Game after playing 31 of 48 rounds in the tripleheader.
 
Siena Rovito was the Tumbler of the Game after executing the highest routine execution in MU STUNT in the third quarter.
 
Rachel Kowal earned seven of MU's 10 points and was named stunter of the game.
