The Misericordia University Super Smash Bros team opened the spring with a 2-0 loss to New England College, Tuesday night.
 
Hayden DiGennaro secured an early win for the Cougars in game one, with additional support from Aydan Kirby, Zachary Anspach.  The Pilgrims rallied for a tight victory.
 
The Cougars traded blows with New England in game two as Anthony Cardona and Michael Bush fought hard for Misericordia. Ultimately the Pilgrims overtook the Cougars to complete the sweep.
 
Misericordia will face off against Husson University, February 10 at 8:00 PM.
