Kaylee DePietro and Anthony Matas have been named the Misericordia University Wendy's Athletes of the Month for December/January.

DePietro, a junior swimmer, won four individual races and was part of four relay wins while leading the women's swim team to a 6-1 record.
           
Matas, a sophomore, led the men's wrestling team to a 3-0 dual meet record and a third-place at the MAC championships.
 
He claimed the MAC title at 174 pounds and was 10-2 with one pin, three technical falls and one major decision.
