Stephen Gihr won the weight throw to lead the Misericordia University men's track & field team at the Susquehanna River Hawk Friday Night Showdown.

Gihr topped the field with a throw of 16.44m with the second-best throw in the MAC this season.

Thomas Bricker (4:33.37) finished second in the mile and Logan Richard (7.00) was second at 60m.

Joseph Vacchio (23.28) was fourth at 200m while Austin Karwacki (2:04.49) and Lorenzo Andrade (9.02) were seventh at 800m and the 60m hurdles, respectively.

Andrew Chase (13.08m) was eighth in the shot put and Tyler Lukavitch, Nathan Horn, Karwacki and Yuannis Polemitis (3:40.03) were fifth in the 4x400.
