STUNT Sweeps Tripleheader

The Misericordia University STUNT team swept a tripleheader to wrap up the Cougar Classic, Sunday in the Anderson Center, including a pair of conference wins.
 
The Cougars recorded shutout wins against Gallaudet, Randolph and Albright.
 
In the opener, MU beat Gallaudet, 12-0.
 
Molly Reott participated in 10 rounds of play and successfully executed routines to assist her team in earning all 10 points. 
 
Ava Barrett was named Stunter of the Game for her contributions in partner stunts, pyramids and tosses and Elana Supanek executed her tumbling assignments to help the team put points on the board in the third and fourth quarters.
 
MU beat NEC rival Randolph for the second time this season, 17-0.
 
Angelena Montefour was named player of the game for her contributions in all four quarters and Ally Moyer saw a significant amount of time at back spot in the first, second and fourth quarters.  She was named Stunter of the Game for helping the Cougars put 10 of their 17 points on the board. 
 
Hannah Colon helped the team secure points in the more difficult tumbling plays throughout the tripleheader.
 
MU beat Albright, 20-0, in the finale.
 
Emma Conner was named Player of the Game for her role in 14 of the 20 points scored.  A powerhouse base, Conner worked hard in all four to help the Cougars finish strong. 
 
Lily Matthews worked new high-level skills inside today's Jump and Tumbling plays to help elevate the Cougars' playing standard and back spot Victoria Melton earned Stunter of the Game after playing 10 out of the 12 stunting routines showcased during gametime.  
 
The Player of the Tournament was sophomore top and tumbler Audry Weiss with a Power Number of 15.625 in the tournament's five-game series.   
 
Aliyah Tillman (PN: 14) and Emma Conner (PN:  12.75) rounded out MU's top three ranked athletes for the weekend.
