The Misericordia University STUNT team dropped a 25-18 decision to top-seeded Muskingum, at the College STUNT National Championships, Friday in Nashville, TN.
In a competitive game, the Cougars allowed the Muskies just three rounds of play with unanswered points.
The Cougars were within two points or tied for the point in the remaining rounds.
Top performers for MU were Rachel Kowal, Anna Mellody, Allyson Moyer.
Kowal was named player of the game for her strong showing in all four quarters.
Hannah Colon was named tumbler of the game for her strong performances in jump and tumble plays.
Zoey Jones also excelled for the Cougars.
The Cougars will take on #6 Centenary (LA) in an elimination game, Saturday at 9:00 am (CST). The winner will face the Maryville/St. Mary's winner at 2:50 pm (CST).
Muskingum will play George Fox in the winner's bracket final at 3:30 pm (CST).
