The Misericordia University men's track & field team is in third place after the opening day of the MAC Track & Field Championships, Thursday at Messiah.

Stephen Gihr (55.01m) broke his own school record to win the hammer throw.

Ryan Weber (32:24.46) finished third at 10,000m.
