Stephen Gihr and Ryan Weber both made the podium to lead the Misericordia University men's track & field team on the opening day of the All-Atlantic Regional Track & Field Championships, Wednesday at Ursinus.
 
The Cougars are in 26^th place in the 65-team field.
 
Gihr (54.72m) finished seventh in the hammer throw while Weber (32.29.29) was eighth at 10,000m.
 
The 4x100 relay team (41.82) of Robert Seidel, Logan Richard, Dylan Blackwell and Jacob Hunter finished third in its heat and eighth overall to advance to tomorrow's final.
 
Richard (10.88) finished second in his heat and 16^th overall in the prelims at 100m.
