Jacob Hunter earned the MAC Track Athlete of the Year award after claiming four titles at the MAC Track & Field Championships, Saturday at Messiah.

Hunter (21.31) set a MAC championships record to win at 200m (21.31) and set a school record to win at 400m (47.19) and added two relay wins.

Hunter anchored the winning 4x100 (41.48) with
Robert Seidel,
Logan Richard and
Dylan Blackwell.

Richard,
Lorenzo Andrade,
Frankie Torres and Hunter captured the 4x400 (3:20.31).
Â
Andrade set a school record to finish second in the 400m hurdles (53.56) and was fourth in the 110m hurdles (15.28).

Richard finished third at 100m (10.84) and was fourth at 200m.

Brayden Brown finished fifth in the shot put (14.8m) and
Thomas Bricker was eighth at 1500m (4:02.84).

The Cougars finished fourth of 16 teams and Dylan Lattuga was named assistant coach of the year.
