Cole Dixon has been named defensive coordinator at Misericordia University, head football coach
Steve Cushing has announced.
Dixon spent the last five seasons on the coaching staff at Susquehanna and most recently served as special teams coordinator. He also coached linebackers and defensive line.
He helped guide the Crusaders to four consecutive conference championships, including three straight Landmark titles. Susquehanna advanced to the NCAA Final Four in 2024 and reached the Elite Eight in 2025.
Dixon coached 12 all-conference players and seven all-region selections.
He mentored five All-Americans and two Landmark Defensive Players of the Year.

A graduate of Dallas High School, Dixon earned his degree in global management from Susquehanna.Â
He was an All-American linebacker at Susquehanna and was a three-time all-conference selection and two-time all-region honoree.
