Misericordia Announces 2026 Athletics Hall of Fame Class

The Misericordia University athletics department has announced its 2026 Hall of Fame class which is set to be inducted as part of Homecoming/Reunion Weekend, September 18, 2026.
 
The 24th MU HOF class includes Bianca (Bolton) Gibbons '16, Ryan Dorosh, '16, Kyle Lindsay '16, Jeff Puckett '16 and Amy (Viti) Nelson '16.
 
Gibbons was a two-time NCAA championships qualifier in cross country.  She was a three-time All-MAC honoree, including winning the MAC individual championship as a senior.  She owns the eighth-fastest time in school history. 
 
A three-time MAC champion in indoor track & field, she was the MAC Indoor Track Athlete of the Year as a senior.  She was a two-time MAC champion at 1500m in outdoor track & field.
 
She was part of two MAC cross country team championships and two MAC track & field championships.
 
Dorosh was a three-time All-MAC Freedom honoree in baseball, including a pair of first-team selections.  He was named Pitcher of the Year in the MAC Freedom, NCAA Mid-Atlantic Region and ECAC.
 
He earned second-team All-American honors and was the Wendy's Athlete of the Year.
 
He holds the school record for career wins, strikeouts, starts and complete games.  He is second in career innings pitched and third in career earned run average.  He owns the single-season marks for strikeouts.
 
He led the Cougars to four straight MAC Freedom championships.
 
Lindsay was a four-time All-MAC Freedom selection while playing multiple positions on the baseball team.  He was a three-time first-team honoree and a two-time all-region selection.  He earned All-America honors and holds the school record for career hits.  He is second all-time in runs scored and doubles and is third in stolen bases and total bases.
 
He led the Cougars to four straight MAC Freedom championships.
 
Puckett was a four-year starter at quarterback in the first four seasons of the MU football program.  He led the MAC in rushing and rushing touchdowns as a senior and set the MAC single-game record with six touchdowns.  He was a two-time All-MAC selection, including first-team honors as a senior.
 
He was the Wendy's Athlete of the Year as a senior and holds school single-game, single-season and career records for rushing yards.
 
Nelson was a three-time All-MAC performer in cross country and a three-time All-American in track & field.  She was the NCAA indoor runner-up at 800m and won five MAC individual indoor titles.
 
She was a six-time MAC champion in outdoor track & field and was the MAC Track Athlete of the Year as a senior.  She finished third in the nation at 800m outdoors and was the Wendy's Athlete of the Year as a senior.
 
She was part of two MAC cross country team championships and two MAC track & field championships.
 
The MAC Outdoor Track Rookie of the Year as a first year, she owns five individual school records and is part of three relay records.
