The Misericordia University women's soccer team has earned the top spot in the MAC Freedom Coaches' Preseason Poll for the fifth consecutive season. 

The Cougars were the MAC Freedom runner-up a year ago and earned 61 points to edge defending champion Stevens by one point in the 2026 poll.

Misericordia recorded its fifth consecutive unbeaten conference slate in 2025.

The Cougars open the season at Susquehanna, Tuesday, September 1.
