The Misericordia University football team recorded its second straight last-minute win in a 15-14 victory at Albright, Saturday.
 
Down 14-3, the Cougars scored twice in the final 6:06, including the game-winning tally with just :12 remaining.
 
Trailing 14-9, MU forced a punt and took over at their own 14-yard line with 1:38 to play.
 
Two short passes from Ronnie Borden to Luke Hoerl gave MU a first down and a pass interference penalty moved the ball to midfield.
 
Facing third-and-7 with :34 to play, Jassan Whittaker made a leaping grab down the left seam for a 46-yard gain to the Albright nine. 
 
Borden hit Whittaker on a quick out to the right to the one yard line and the pair connected again at the right pylon for the winning score with :12 to go.
 
MU took a knee on the two-point conversion and Albright's last-chance play was incomplete.
 
Borden's quick-kick on fourth-and-8 was downed at the Albright two-yard line early in the fourth quarter.
 
The MU defense forced a three-and-out and regained possession at the Albright 25 after a 9-yard return by Whittaker.
 
On second-and-20, Angelo Fluri burst through the middle for a 21-yard pick-up to the Albright 14.
 
Borden hit Whittaker for nine yards and Fluri ran for four yards to set up a first-and-goal at the one.
 
Fluri plowed in on second down to get MU within 14-9 with 6:06 to play.
 
After exchanging punts on the first two possessions of the game, the Cougars threatened with a 14-play drive, but came up empty on a field goal attempt.
 
The teams traded punts throughout most of the first half until Albright took a 7-0 lead wit 6:54 left in the second quarter.
 
The Cougars punted on the ensuing possession, but the got the ball back in Albright territory when Ben Gable blocked a punt.
 
MU took advantage of the short field and cut the deficit to 7-3 on Chance Hall's first career field goal with2:46 remaining in the first half.
 
Misericordia chewed up more than seven minutes in the third quarter on a 14-play drive but were stopped at the Albright five and turned the ball over on downs.
 
Albright went 95 yards and took a 14-3 lead early in the fourth quarter.
 
Fluri led the Cougars with 89 yards on 32 carries and Whittaker had a team-high five catches for 56 yards.
Owen Norman had nine tackles, including three for loss, and forced two fumbles.
