2023 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team finished second at the MAC Championships.
Stephen Rowley won the individual title and became MU's first individual MAC Champion. He was joined on the All-MAC first team by Thomas Bricker while Ryan Shulman and Tavian McKenna were third-team All-MAC.
Rowley earned all-region status with a fifth-place finish at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships.
Rowley set the school record with a time of 25:01 at Lock Haven Invitational.
2022 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team finished sixth at the MAC Championships.
Stephen Rowley finished ninth to make first-team All-MAC and Stephen Kober and Tavian McKenna were second-team All-MAC.
Ryan Shulman made third-team All-MAC.
Rowley earned all-region status by finishing 20th in the 222-runner field.
Rowley was named academic All-MAC and to the academic All-District team.
Rowley was the team's MVP.
2021 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team finished fifth at the MAC Championships.
Stephen Kober finished second overall and was named to the All-MAC first team. He was joined by Tavian McKenna who finished eighth.
Stephen Rowley earned second-team All-MAC with a 15th place finish.
Kober earned all-region status and was named to the Academic All-MAC team.
Kober was the team's MVP.
2020 Men's Cross Country
The season was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team finished fifth at the MAC Championships.
Zach Davis finished 13th to earn second-team All-MAC honors and lead five All-MAC performers.
Jack Zardecki, Nick Lancaster, Stephen Kober and Ethan Shane all earned third-team All-MAC status.
Davis and Zardecki made the All-Freshman team at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships.
Davis and Zardecki were named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
Davis was also named Misericordia's Scholar-Athlete of the Year and the team's MVP
2018 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team finished seventh at the MAC Championships.
Alex Fitch earned first-team All-MAC honors with an eighth place finish while Ethan Shane was third-team All-MAC.
Fitch was named to the MAC All-Academic team and the USTFCCCA All-Academic team.
Fitch was the team's MVP.
2017 Men's Cross Country
Misericordia finished sixth at the MAC Championships.
Sean Luzzi had a top-10 finish and was All-MAC first team while Alexander Fitch was named to the second team.
Luzzi and Fitch both earned All-Region status to lead the team to a 17th place finish at the NCAA Mideast regional.
Luzzi and Fitch were both named to the MAC All-Academic team.
The team earned all-academic honors from the USTFCCCA as a result of their cumulative GPA of 3.23.
Luzzi was the team's MVP.
2016 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team finished fourth at the MAC Championships for the third consecutive season.
Sean Luzzi and Alex Fitch earned first-team All-MAC honors while Trever Reed was second-team.
Fitch ran the third-fastest time in school history at the MAC championships while Luzzi ran the ninth-fastest time in school history.
Fitch and Luzzi were both named to the MAC All-Academic team.
Luzzi was the team's MVP and Reed received this year's Coach's Award.
2015 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team finished fourth at the MAC Championships at Letterkenny Field.
Mikael Hause earned first-team All-MAC status while Alex Fitch and Eric Deignan made second-team All-MAC.
Hause earned all-region status and the Cougars recorded its best finish ever at the NCAA Mideast Regional championships with a 12th place finish.
Hause broke his own school record at Rowan (25:29) and was named Academic All-MAC.
Trevor Reed, Hause, Fitch and Deignan were awarded academic awards by the USTFCCCA.
Hause was the men's team MVP for the second year in a row while Deignan received the Coach's Award.
2014 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team had its best finish ever at the MAC Championships with a fourth-place showing.
Mikael Hause set a new school record (26:04) at the MAC Championships and earned first-team All-MAC status.
Sean Luzzi earned second-team All-MAC honors and ran the best first-year time in school history (27:00).
Hause was named to the MAC Men's Cross Country All-Academic Team and earned USTFCCCA All-Academic honors.
Hause was the men's team MVP while A.J. Limongelli received the Coach's Award.
2013 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars finished 5th of 17 at the MAC Championships.
Mikael Hause earned second-team All-MAC honors and ran the sixth-fastest time in school history at Lock Haven.
Hause was the team MVP. Jeremy Osko received the Coach's Award.
2012 Men's Cross Country
Misericordia hosted the MAC Cross Country Championships for the first time and finished sixth of 16 teams.
A.J. Limongelli (14th) and Dave McLean (15th) both earned second-team All-MAC status.
McLean (8th) and Limongelli (10th) cracked the all-time top-10 times.
Limongelli was the men's team MVP for the second straight season while Zach Bottone received the Coach's Award.
2011 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country teams finished fifth of 16 teams at the MAC Championships.
A.J. Limongelli (11th) and Bill Cooney (14th) both earned second-team All-MAC status for their times at Messiah.
Limongelli made the All-Freedom team with a 71st place finish at the Mideast Regional.
Limongelli was the men's team MVP while Kyle Suponcic received the Coach's Award.
2010 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's team cross country team finished fifth of 15 teams at the MAC Championships.
Bill Cooney set a new school record (26:11) at the MAC Championships while earning first-team All-MAC honors.
Frank Redmond and Pat Noonan both earned second-team All-MAC status.
The men's team had its best finish ever (15th) at the NCAA Mideast Regional meet.
MU earned USTFCCCA All-Academic team honors with a 3.32 team GPA.
Redmond was the men's team MVP for the fourth time while Cooney received the Coach's Award.
2009 Men's Cross Country
The Misericordia men's cross country team finished sixth at the MAC Championships.
Frank Redmond finished ninth at the MAC's to earn first-team All-MAC honors.
Redmond (26:13) broke head coach Chris Wadas' school record at the NCAA Mideast Regional meet. Redmond was MU's top finisher in each of his eight races and he added the third and fourth-fastest times in school history.
Redmond was the men's team MVP for the third time. Pat Noonan received the Coach's Award.
Ryan Garges and Dave Verzella were four-year letter winners.
2008 Men's Cross Country
In their first season as members of the MAC, the men's team finished sixth at the MAC Championships.
Frank Redmond finished 18th at the MAC's to earn second-team honors. He was the men's team's top finisher in all nine of their races.
Redmond was named team MVP for the second time. Pat Blaskiewicz received the Coach's Award.
Josh Chaudoin was the team's lone senior.
2007 Men's Cross Country
Misericordia finished second at the PAC championships. The men's team had its streak of PAC titles snapped at six.
Mike Guest finished second in the men's race, which ended MU's streak of individual championships at five.
Guest was joined on the All-PAC first team by teammate Pat Noonan (7th).
Frank Redmond (8th), Steve Beecher (10th) and John Peruso (13th) were named to the second team.
Redmond was the team's MVP, and Peruso was honored with the Coach's Award.
Guest ran the fourth fastest time in school history at the Mid-East Regional meet.
Beecher ended his college career as a four-year letterman.
2006 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars won their sixth consecutive Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championship, while Jeff Ward gave MU their fifth straight individual champion.
Teammate Mike Petrikonis was third while defending race champion Steve Beecher was fourth.
Chase Susko and Ryan Garges also earned first-team All-PAC status, while Dillon Lockwood and Dave Barachie were second-team All-PAC.
Ward was the team MVP, and Susko received the Coach's Award.
Former MU standout Chris Wadas completed his first season as head coach.
2005 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars won their fifth consecutive PAC championship and Steve Beecher won the individual title to extend CM's streak to four straight (current assistant coach Chris Wadas won the race from 2002-04).
Beecher was joined on the All-PAC first team by Mike Petrikonis (2nd) and Dillon Lockwood (5th).
Anthony Colardo (8th) and John Martino (11th) made second-team All-PAC.
Beecher ran the seventh-fastest time in school history to win the PAC and was named team MVP. Senior Justin Sandy earned the Coach's Award.
CM head coach Brandon Uhl was named PAC Coach of the Year for the second straight year.
2004 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars won their fourth consecutive PAC championship.
Chris Wadas became the first runner in PAC history to win three individual PAC championchips.
Wadas, Steve Beecher, Jeff Ward, Barry Snyder and Mike Petrikonis all earned first-team All-PAC honors.
Dillon Lockwood and Chase Susko were all named second-team All-PAC. Brandon Uhl was named PAC Coach-of-the-Year.
Wadas was named MVP for the fourth straight season, while Snyder earned the Coach's Award.
Snyder and Wadas were honored as four-year letter winners.
2003 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars won their third consecutive PAC championship.
Chris Wadas became the first runner in PAC history to repeat as individual PAC champion. Wadas also set a championship meet record. Wadas finished 33rd at the NCAA Mideast Regional to earn All-Region honors.
Wadas, Jeff Dahlgard and Mike Petrikonis finished 1,2,3 at the PAC championships, and Anthony Calardo also earned first-team All-PAC honors.
Dillon Lockwood, Justin Sandy, Bob Lepley and Jeff Ward were all named second-team All-PAC. Frank Kinkead was named PAC Coach of the Year.
Wadas was named MVP for the third straight season, while Dahlgard earned the Coach's Award.
Dahlgard and Nick Wadas were honored as four-year letter winners.
2002 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars won their second consecutive PAC championship.
Chris Wadas became the school's first individual PAC champion. Wadas set the school record at the NCAA Regional meet and ran seven of the top 10 times in school history.
Wadas was joined on the All-PAC first-team by Jeff Dahlgard, Dave Allison, Todd Matukaitis and Barry Snyder. Frank Kinkead also earned Coach-of-the-Year honors.
Wadas was named team MVP, and Nick Wadas received the Coach's Award.
Allison and Matukaitis were also honored as four-year letter winners.
2001 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars won their first PAC championship in 2001 earning their first PAC title.
Chris Wadas, Todd Matukaitis and Dave Allison all were named to the first-team All-PAC. Jeff Dahlgard, Nick Wadas, Bob Lepley and Barry Snyder were all named to the second-team All-PAC. Rookie head coach Frank Kinkead was also named PAC Coach of the Year.
Matukaitis, Wadas and Dahlgard combined to run the eight of the school's all-time Top-10 times this season. Wadas was named the team MVP, while Dahlgard took home the Coach's Award.
Corey Gallagher was honored as a four-year letter winner.
2000 Men's Cross Country
The MU men's cross country team earned its highest finished ever with a second-place showing at the PAC championship meet.
Jeff Dahlgard set a new school record (28:52) and earned All-PAC with a seventh place finish. Nick Wadas and David Allison earned second-team All-PAC honors. Head coach Bill Reznak was also named PAC Coach of the Year.
Dahlgard and Todd Matukaitis combined for nine of the top-10 fastest times in school history.
Rett Holmes, Paul Rowlands and Brian Williams were honored as four-year letter winners.
1999 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars finished the season with a fourth place finish at the PAC championships.
Freshman Todd Matukaitis set a new school record (30:06) and was named the team's MVP. Rett Holmes was honored with the Coach's Award.
1998 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars for the third consecutive year finished third in the PAC championships. Brian Williams was named the team's MVP, and David Johnson was honored with the Coach's award.
Johnson was also recognized as a four-year letterman.
1997 Men's Cross Country
For the second consecutive season the MU men's cross country team finished the season third in PAC championships. The team also hosted the first-ever Misericordia Invitational with the men finishing second.
Joe Conway earned All-PAC status with a sixth-place finish. Conway was also named the team's MVP, while Brian Williams was honored with the Coach's Award.
Rett Holmes and Michael Traver represented the Cougars at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional meet.
Conway was honored as a four-year letterman.
1996 Men's Cross Country
The Cougars finished their second year as an improved team that finished third in the PAC championships.
John Conway was honored as the team MVP after finishing first or second six times throughout the season. Sophomore Mike Blasick was honored with the Coach's award.
Tom Clark, Brendan Cygan and David Johnson represented the Cougars at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional meet.
1995 Men's Cross Country
The 1995 Cross Country season marked the first one at Misericordia in more than a decade. The team hosted the first-ever home varsity meet in school history.
The team got its first varsity win on Parent's Day over Marywood.
CM ended the season with a record of 4-3, and finished fifth at the PAC championships.
