Misericordia finished 25-17 and qualified for the Freedom championships and hosted the ECAC South championships.

Bailee Schies was named first-team All-Freedom and Pitcher of the Year while Megan Gowe and Kristi Seiler were named second-team All-Freedom.

Megan Hardy and Sam Hare were honorable mention All-Freedom and Hardy was third-team NFCA All-Region.

Cromley was a first-team Academic All-American and was the team MVP while Amanda Polaha earned the Coach's Award.

Polaha became the career leader in fielding % (.990) and total chances/error (101.4).
2011 Softball
Under second-year head coach Jen Probst the Cougars were 25-18 and finished second at the ECAC South championships.
MU finished tied for third during Freedom Conference regular season, but missed the playoffs because of tiebreaking criteria.
Hollie Sarnak and Caitlin Cromley were named first-team All-Freedom while Nicole Wenner and Maria Kidron were both named second-team All-Freedom
Sarnak tied the school all-time home run record (32) and finished third in total bases (352) and RBI (149).
A four-year starter at shortstop, Wenner set a new record for assists (386).
Sophomore first baseman Amanda Polaha had a 1.000 fielding percentage.
Sarnak was the team MVP and Cromley earned the Coachs' Award.

2010 Softball
Under first-year head coach Jen Probst the Cougars finished 28-18 and finished second at the Freedom Championships.
The Cougars reached the conference championship game for the 14th time in 15 seasons (13 straight in the PAC) and made their third straight trip to the ECAC playoffs.
Nicole Hoskins was the Freedom Player of the Year.
Hoskins was joined on the All-Freedom first-team by Kat Lucenti. Courtney Novajosky and Nicole Wenner were both named second-team.
Probst was the Freedom Coach of the Year.
Lucenti set school single-season records for appearances (39), starts (36) and innings (229.10). She tied the record for single-season wins (22).
Novajosky set a single-season record with 157 at-bats.
Hollie Sarnak set a school record with eight hit by pitches and became the all-time leader with 14.
Sarnak moved into second place in career homers (22).
Lucenti set career records for appearances (111), starts (97) and innings (642) and finished second in career wins (66).
Lucenti was the team MVP and Novajosky earned the Coach's Award.
Hoskins, Lucenti, Novajosky, Kristi McCluskey, Gina Urbon and Ashley Ballard were all four-year letter winners.
2009 Softball
The Cougars finished 29-15 and won the ECAC South Championship for the second straight season.
Nicole Wenner was the ECAC Tournament MVP.
In their first season in the Freedom Conference, the Cougars were the top seed in the playoffs. They finished third- ending their streak of 13 straight appearances in the conference finals.
Lindsay Miller was the team MVP and Nicole Hoskins earned the Coach's Award.
Hoskins and Hollie Sarnak were both named first-team All-Freedom while Courtney Novajosky made the second team.
Miller set a school record for all-time at bats (560).
A four-year starter, Miller was the only senior on the team.
Charlotte Slocum retired after the season.
Sarnak was an ECAC All-Star.
2008 Softball
The Cougars finished 32-12--second in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference. They made their 13th straight trip to the PAC finals.
MU won the ECAC South Championship.
Nicole Hoskins was named MVP of the ECAC Championships.
Katherine Lucenti and Gina Urbon were both named to the All-PAC first team.
Hollie Sarnak and Courtney Novajosky made the All-PAC second team, and Kristen Norris earned honorable mention.
Norris set school records for single-season (360) and career (1255) putouts.
Lucenti was named team MVP. Brittany Bradburn received the Coach's Award.
2007 Softball
The Cougars finished 29-16 and won the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championship to earn their second NCAA Championships berth.
CM made its 12th straight appearance in the PAC championship game.
Head coach Charlotte Slocum went over the 600-win mark for her career and ended the season with a career record of 613-280.
Jen Gehman and Nichole Decatur were both named first-team All-PAC.
Kat Lucenti and Catherine Hoskins were second-team All-PAC, while Kristen Norris earned honorable mention.
Gehman was the team MVP and Mickey Capizzi received the Coach's Award.
Gehman ended her career with school records for games (180), at bats (549) triples (22), homers (32), total bases (394), fielding% (.987) and total chances per error (71).
Norris set single-season (318) and career (895) records for putouts.

The Cougars finished 32-16 and finished second in the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference
CM made its 11th straight appearance in the PAC championship game and finished second at the ECAC South Championships
Jen Gehman, Kristi Devens, Kirsten Lazorka and Kerri Buckman were named first-team All-PAC for the second straight season.
Lazorka was the PAC Player of the Year – the second straight season MU claimed the honor.
Gehman was named first-team All-East region by the NFCA.
Devens was the team MVP for the second straight season. Lazorka received the Coach's Award.
Gehman set school single-season records for fielding percentage (.996) and chances per error (224). She became CM's all-time leader with 22 home runs and also moved into first place in career fielding % (.986) and chances per error (70.1).
Devens set MU single-season records for appearances (35), starts (29), innings (194.2) and strikeouts (189).
Lazorka set school career records for games (174) and at bats (538).
Devens, Buckman, Lazorka and Laura Mushinski were honored as four-year letter winners.
CM head coach Charlotte Slocum improved to 584-264 in 26 seasons at CM.

2005 Softball
The Cougars finished 31-11 and won the PAC championship to clinch their first NCAA playoff berth. The Cougars defeated Cortland in a consolation game at the NCAA Regionals to earn the first NCAA Tournament win in school history.
Jenn Gehman tied the CM single-season record for triples (8).
Kristen Norris set the school single-season record for putouts (306).
Gehman, Kristi Devens, Kirsten Lazorka and Kerri Buckman were named first-team All-PAC, while Jess Klimas was second-team, and Megan Lee was honorable mention. Stephanie Myers was named to the All-Sportsmanship team.
Gehman and Klimas were third-team All-East region by NFCA.
Gehman was PAC Player of the Year, and Charlotte Slocum was PAC Coach of the Year.
Devens was named the PACÂ Tournament MVP and was also named Wendy's Athlete of the Month for April.
Lazorka was named Wendy's Athlete of the Month for March.
Devens was the team MVP, while Myers earned the Coach's Award.
Lee, Myers and Colleen Seymour were honored as four-year letter winners.

2004 Softball
The Cougars finished 34-12 and were the runners-up in the PAC for the sixth straight season.  CM also finished third at the ECAC South Championships. MU finished first during the PAC regular season and hosted the PAC Championships for the first time since 1998.
Amber Lazorka set a MU career record for games played (166). Â She also set single season records for runs scored (58) and walks (31) and is CM's career leader in walks (83) and assists (381).
Tiffany Gray became CM's all time leader in putouts (800).
Charlotte Slocum eclipsed the 500 win plateau for her career.
A. Lazorka, Rachael Matthews and Kerri Buckman were named first-team All-PAC, while Kirsten Lazorka, Jen Gehman and Kristi Devens were second-team.
A. Lazorka and Gehman were named second team All-East region by the NFCA.
A. Lazorka was the team MVP, and Gray earned the Coach's Award.
A. Lazorka, Gray, Matthews and Barb Rexer were all recognized as four-year letter winners.

The Cougars finished 26-13 and were the runners-up in the PAC for the fifth straight season. MU qualified for the ECAC Championships.
Amber Lazorka set a school record for walks in a season.
Kirsten Lazorka, A. Lazorka and Kerri Buckman were named second-team All-PAC, while Tiffany Gray, Rachael Matthews and Mindi Brown were honorable mention.
Matthews was the team MVP, and Angela Wincek earned the Coach's Award.
Brown and Wincek were the only seniors on the team.

2002 Softball
The Cougars finished 26-17 and were the runners-up in the PAC for the fourth straight season.
Amber Lazorka was 10th in the PAC in batting and set a school record for assists (114).
Tiffany Gray set a school record for putouts (300). Â She is the school's all-time leader in total chances/error (68.4).
Rachael Matthews was eight in the PAC in ERA, and Mindi Brown was 10th.
Second baseman Jenn Martin was a first team All-PAC selection. Shortstop Amber Lazorka and centerfielder Michelle Goff were named to the second team. Brown earned honorable mention.
Lazorka was the MVP and Brown received the Coach's Award.
Kim Harner, a four year letter winner, was the only senior on the team.

2001 Softball
The Cougars finished 27-11 and were the runners-up in the PAC for the third straight season.  CM qualified for the ECAC South Championships for the sixth time in eight years.
Mindy Brown led the PAC in ERA and set a school record with a 0.53 ERA and is the school's career leader at 0.67. Jill Connolly was seventh in the PAC in ERA.
Freshman Amber Lazorka finished fourth in the PAC in batting average.
Jen Hepner and Lazorka were first-team All-PAC selections while Brown, Connolly and Alexis Kissinger were second-team.
Lazorka was a second-team ECAC All-Star, while Hepner and Connolly earned honorable mention.
Connolly was a first-team Verizon Academic All-District selection while Brown was named second-team.
Lazorka was the team MVP, and Kissinger earned the Coach's Award.

2000 Softball
The Cougars finished 35-13 for their fifth consecutive 30-win season. MU finished second in the PAC and ECAC South Championships as head coach Charlotte Slocum earned her 400th career victory and improved her career record to 408-184 in 20 seasons.
Lesley Salokas was third in the PACÂ in batting, while Nichole Spishock led the league in ERA and Leanne Howell was fourth. Alison Baksi was 10th in the PACÂ in batting.
Salokas tied a school record with 19 doubles and set records for at bats and put outs.
Howell was ranked among the NCAA leaders in winning percentage and set school records for appearances, starts and innings pitched.
Shortstop Jen Hepner set a school record for assists.
Kristina Dillon, Salokas and Kim Harner were first-team All-PAC selections, while Howell and Kissinger were second-team.
Salokas was second-team NFCAÂ All-Regional selection. Howell and Kissinger were named third-team.
Salokas was the team MVP, and Howell earned the Coach's Award.

1999 Softball
The Misericordia softball team finished second in the PAC during the regular season and the playoffs. The Cougars finished 30-14 for their fourth consecutive 30-win season. Head coach Charlotte Slocum has a career record of 373-171 through 19 seasons.
CM was ranked among the national leaders in runs per game.
Jill Connolly, Leanne Howell and Nichole Spishock ranked third, fourth and fifth in the PACÂ in ERA.
Howell, Connolly, Christa Eck and Spishock were named first-team All-PAC, while Kristina Dillon was named second-team.
Howell was the team MVP, and Megan Timko earned the Coach's Award.
There were no seniors on this year's roster.

1998 Softball
The Misericordia softball team won its third consecutive PAC championship and hosted the tournament for the fourth straight year. The Cougars earned their third consecutive ECAC playoff berth and won their second ECAC championship in three years.
CM was ranked among the national statistic leaders throughout the season, while Jessica Crea was ranked among individual leaders.
Crea became the career leader in hits (226), doubles (60), triples (15), total bases (355), appearances (99), starts (95), complete games (92), wins (73) and innings (572).
Danielle Morcom set career records for games (165), at bats (500) and runs (169).
Tina Corcoran set a career record for put outs (541).
Crea was the Outstanding Pitcher at the PAC championships, while Jen Hepner was the MVP. Crea was also Co-MVP at the ECAC championships.
Crea, Corcoran, Morcom, Hepner, Jill Connolly and Tricia Hoffman were first-team All-PAC selections.  Crea was second-team All-Regional, and Connolly and Morcom were third-team.
Hoffman was a GTE Academic All-American selection for the second straight year.
Crea was the team MVP while Morcom received the Coach's Award.

1997 Softball
The Misericordia softball team won its second consecutive PAC championship and hosted the tournament for the third straight year. The Cougars earned their second consecutive ECAC playoff berth and hosted that tournament as well. CM finished third in the tournament and head coach Charlotte Slocum reached the 300-career win plateau.
Jessica Crea set a school single season record for ERAÂ (0.76). She also became the school's all-time leader in appearances (76), complete games (72), victories (57), innings pitched (447.2), ERAÂ (1.03) and doubles (45).
Crea was the Outstanding Pitcher at the PAC championships, while Kerilyn Rostowsky was the MVP.
Danielle Morcom, Tina Corcoran and Crea were named first-team All-PAC, while Tricia Hoffman and Gina Tropiano were second-team.
Corcoran and Crea were second-team All-Regional and Tropiano was third-team.
Hoffman was a second team GTE Academic All-America selection.
Crea was the team MVP, while Andi Johnson received the Coach's Award.
Janina Fornal, the team's lone senior, was a four year letter winner.

1996 Softball
The 1996 softball season was the greatest in the history of the program at Misericordia. The Cougars finished with a 38-6 record, including a 27-game win streak. Misericordia won its second PAC championship in three years and won the school's first ECAC title in any sport. Coach Charlotte Slocum was named Coach of the Year.
CM swept local rivals Wilkes, King's and Marywood this season while splitting with Scranton and Lycoming (MACÂ runner-up).
Jessica Crea was the Outstanding Pitcher at the PAC championships, while Tina Corcoran was tournament MVP.
Crea, Jen Smith, Tricia Hoffman, Danielle Morcom and Gina Tropiano were first-team All-PAC selections.
Smith was second-team All-Regional, while Crea and Hoffman were third team.
Smith and Hoffman were named ECAC All-Stars, and Smith was also ECAC Player of the Year.
Smith was the team MVP, while Tropiano won the Coach's Award.

1995 Softball
While some people expected the 1995 softball season to be a rebuilding season, coach Charlotte Slocum and her Cougars proved that it was just a reloading season. With as many as five freshman in the strting line-up on a regular basis, CM had one of the most successful campaigns in school history. Their 27-12 record ties for second place on the school's all time list for wins in a season. The Cougars also finished 16-2 in the PACÂ to earn them the number one seed and home field advantage in the PAC playoffs.
Junior second baseman Jen Smith enjoyed a record setting season with new school highs for hits (58), homeruns (11) and RBI's (68).
Freshman Jessica Crea was 16-6 on the mound including a one-hitter.
Smith also became the first MU player to be named to the NSCA East Region All-Star team. Teammates Joey Lynn Gatto and Crea were named to the second team.
Smith, Crea and freshman outfielder Danielle Morcom were named first-team All-PAC, while Gatto and Gina Tropiano were named second team.
Smith was the team MVP, while Cathy Valonis, the only senior on the squad, received the Coach's Award.

1994 Softball
The 1994 softball season was one of the most successful ever for the Cougars of coach Charlotte Slocum.  The Cougars recorded the second most wins in school history while reaching several other milestones, including: the team's first PAC title, unbeaten conference action and also becoming the first Misericordia team in any sport to qualify for ECAC playoffs.
Laura Poynton concluded her career with school records in hits, runs, RBI and batting average.
Joey Lynn Gatto threw a pair of no-hitters including one in a late season showdown with Wilkes.
Poynton, Jen Smith and Cathy Valonis were named ECAC All-Stars making the first time any CM player has achived that honor.
Seven other players, including four first-teamers and three honorable mentions, were recognized by PACÂ coaches. Coach Slocum was named Coach of the Year.
Dani Evans was the PAC tournament MVP, while Poynton was the Outstanding Pitcher.
Poynton was the team MVP while Smith earned the Coach's Award.

1993 Softball
Coming off a record 30-win season, the MU softball season went 16-11. After a slow start at the Rebel Spring Games, the Cougars went 16-6 in the North and finished the season with a six game win streak including a twinbill sweet over tough Moravian.
Laura Poynton, Jen Smith and Bonnie Lee were named first team All-Conference, while Heather Beadle made second team.
Cathy Valonis was the team MVP, while Poynton received the Coach's Award.

1992 Softball
The Misericordia softball team set a new school single-season win record with a 30-10-1 mark.
Susie Slocum led the team in hitting at .457 and was one of three players to hit above .400. She starred in a television commercial promoting the MU athletic program.
Sophomore catcher Laura Poynton hit .443, while junior shortstop Becky Welgosh hit .402.
Poynton led the team with 49 runs, 14 doubles, 8 triples and 63 hits. She was also athlete of the month for March.
Cindy Hughes was 17-4 on the mound and was co-athlete of the month in April. Â She ended the season with 178 strikeouts for an 8.67 K's per game average and an ERA of 0.97.
Hughes was the team MVP for the second consecutive season, while Slocum received the Coach's Award for the second straight time.

1991 Softball
The Cougars finished with a 22-12 record as they were ninth in the nation in team batting average and 18th in team fielding.
Julie Mulraney, Laura Poynton, Susie Slocum and Cindy Hughes were all named to the first team All-District team, while Tracy Hunter, Heather Beadle and Kim Jenkins were named second team.
Hughes ranked first in the nation in strikeouts per game with a 7.23 average.
Hughes was the team MVP, while Slocum earned the Coach's Award.
