2023 Women’s Cross Country
Misericordia captured the MAC Championship title. This is their sixth MAC title in the last nine years.
Grace Gallagher, Bri Wagner, Katie Jones and Madison Kammer were all named All-MAC first-team. Rachel Ulrich and Grace Morningstar made third-team All-MAC.
Head Coach Chris Wadas was named MAC Coach of the Year.
Wagner ran the second-fastest time in school history (21:43) at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships. She also competed at the NCAA DIII Cross Country Championships.
Wagner, Gallagher and Jones all earned all-region status.
Gallagher, Jones and Kammer were named USTFCCCA All-Academic.
Jones and Gallagher were named to the Academic All-MAC team.
2022 Women’s Cross Country
Misericordia finished second at the MAC Championships.
Alexa Thompson and Sarah DeVries earned first-team All-MAC honors while Grace Gallagher made second-team. Bri Wagner earned third-team honors.
DeVries finished eighth at the NCAA Mid-Atlantic Regional Championships and earned all-region status.
DeVries was named to the Academic All-MAC team.
2021 Women’s Cross Country
Misericordia captured the MAC Championship title.
Olivia Visaggio, Alexa Thompson and Abigail James were named All-MAC first-team while Brianna Wagner and Sarah DeVries earned third-team All-MAC honors.
Head Coach Chris Wadas was named MAC Coach of the Year.
James and Thompson were named All-Region and to the Academic All-MAC team.
2020 Women’s Cross Country
Season canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
2019 Women’s Cross Country
Misericordia finished fourth at the MAC Championships.
Olivia Visaggio and Rowan Pepe earned first-team All-MAC honors. Alexa Thompson made the second-team while Corinne Mulhearn was named third-team.
Visaggio ran the fourth-fastest time in school history to earn all-region status and qualify for the NCAA DIII-Championship meet. Thompson was also named all-region.
Thompson and Visaggio were named to the Academic All-MAC team.
2018 Women’s Cross Country
Misericordia captured its second straight MAC Championship title.
Meredith Hartz and Clare Schoen finished in the top four and were named All-MAC first-team. Olivia Visaggio, Jordyn Donnelly, and Rowan Pepe were all named second team All-MAC. Kailee Carroll made third-team.
Schoen was the MAC Runner of the Year.
The Cougars had their best finish ever at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships with a fifth place finish. Schoen and Hartz earned all-region status.
Hartz and Schoen were named to the MAC All-Academic team.
Hartz was named the MAC Women’s Cross Country Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
2017 Women’s Cross Country
Misericordia captured the MAC Championship title.
Clare Schoen, Emily Madigan and Meredith Hartz were all named All-MAC first-team while Jordyn Donnelly and Rowan Pepe were named to the second-team. Emma Federink and Valerie Pagano made third-team.
Schoen finished ninth at the NCAA Mideast Regional and competed at the NCAA Division III Cross Country Championships. She ran three of the top-10 times in school history, including the second (21:48) and third-fastest.
Schoen was named Misericordia University Wendy’s Athletes of the Year.
2016 Women’s Cross Country
Misericordia finished third at the MAC Championships.
Amy Viti, Bethan Kollmon, Clare Schoen, and
Meredith Hartz were all named All-MAC second-team.
The Cougars finished 11th at the NCAA Mideast Regional.
Viti was the 2016 MAC Women’s Cross Country Senior Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
Viti was named to the CoSIDA Academic All-America third-team, All-District 4 Track and Field/Cross Country Team, the MAC All-Academic team and the MAC All-Sportsmanship team.
2015 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country team won the MAC Championship for the second year in a row, at Letterkenny Field in Dallas.
Bianca Bolton won the individual title and was joined on the All-MAC first team by
Bethany Killmon and
Amy Viti.
Kenzie Jones, Alyssa Schwarz and
Alexandria Miller earned second-team All-MAC status.
The Cougars had their best finish ever at the NCAA Mideast Regionals with a 12th place finish.
Bolton qualified for the NCAA Championships for the second consecutive year.
Killmon finished 22nd to earn All-Region status.
Killmon and Miller were named MAC All-Academic.
Killmon, Viti and Miller all received USTFCCCA academic awards.
Viti was named Misericordia’s Scholar-Athlete of the Year and Wendy’s Athlete of the Year.
Bolton was named the team’s MVP while Schwarz received the coach’s award.
2014 Women’s Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country team captured its first MAC Championship.
Bianca Bolton led the Cougars with a fourth-place finish while
Bethany Killmon was sixth. They were joined on the All-MAC first team by
Amy Viti.
Alexandria Miller was named to second-team All-MAC.
Head Coach Chris Wadas was named MAC Coach of the Year.
Bolton became the second NCAA qualifier in school history after finishing third overall at the NCAA Mideast Regional Championships. Bolton set a school record with a time of 21:56.
Killmon, Bolton, Miller, and Viti all earned USTFCCCA All-Academic status.
Viti was named Academic All-American and to the CoSIDA Capital One Academic All-District team.
Bolton was named the team’s MVP while Amy Viti received the coach’s award.
2013 Women's Cross Country
The Cougars finished sixth at the MAC Championships.
Bianca Bolton was second-team All-MAC and was the team MVP while Alexandria Miller earned the Coach’s Award.
2012 Women's Cross Country
Misericordia hosted the MAC Cross Country Championships for the first time and finished fifth of 17 teams.
Marina Orrson finished third to earn first-team All-MAC status for the fourth straight season and
Kelsey Cameron finished 12
th to earn second-team All-MAC status.
Orrson earned All-Region status for the third consecutive year. She ran the third and sixth-fastest times in school history.
Orrson was the team MVP for the third straight season and
Bridget Comiskey earned the Coach’s Award.
2011 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country teams finished fifth of 16 teams at the MAC Championships.
Marina Orrson finished second to earn first-team All-MAC honors for the third straight season. Orrson was 21st at the NCAA D-III Mideast Regional to earn All-Region honors for the second consecutive year.
Orrson was the women’s team MVP, and Maura O’Rourke earned the Coach’s Award.
2010 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country team finished sixth of 14 teams at the MAC Championships.
Marina Orrson earned first-team All-MAC status for the second straight season. She was 25th at the NCAA D-III Mideast Regional to earn All-Region honors.
Orrson was named to the USTFCCCA All-Academic team. The MU women’s team earned USTFCCAA All-Academic status – they ranked 11th with a 3.61 team GPA
Orrson was the women’s team MVP. Marcie Cusatis earned the Coach’s Award.
2009 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country team finished third at the 2009 MAC Championships.
Ali Ostrum and Marina Orrson finished fourth and seventh, respectively, to earn first-team All-MAC in the women’s race.
Ostrum was 21st at the NCAA D-III Mideast Regional to earn All-Region honors and the women’s team finished 13th - their best regional finish ever.
Ostrum and Orrson were the Cougars top two finishers in each of their eight races.
Ostrum ran the fifth and eighth-fastest 6K times in school history and added the ninth-fastest 5K. She was the women’s team MVP for the fourth straight year. Kayla Weaver earned the Coach’s Award.
Ostrum was a four-year letter winner. Weaver was the team's only other senior.
2008 Women’s Cross Country
In their first season as members of the MAC, the women’s team finished third at the MAC Championships.
Ali Ostrum and Megan Dreabit finished fifth and sixth, respectively, in the women’s race.
Aimee DiLucido made second-team All-MAC in 20th place.
Dreabit earned All-Region honors with a 20th place finish at the NCAA D-III Mideast Regionals.
Ostrum (19:08, 7th) and Dreabit (19:27, 10th) both cracked the all-time top-10 list.
Ostrum was named team MVP for the third straight year. Maura O’Rourke earned the Coach’s Award.
Dreabit and Lesley Warren were four-year letter winners.
2007 Women’s Cross Country
Misericordia finished second at the PAC championships.
Ali Ostrum finished second in the women’s race.
Megan Dreabit (4th) and Amanda Radishofski (7th) were named first team All-PAC.
Ostrum repeated as the women’s MVP, and Dreabit earned the Coach’s Award.
2006 Women's Cross Country
Ali Ostrum finished fourth overall to lead the Misericordia University women's cross country team to a third place finish at the Pennsylvania Athletic Conference championships.
Lesley Warren and Megan Dreabit both earned second-team All-PAC honors is Chris Wadas' first season as head coach.
Ostrum was the team MVP and Warren received the Coach's Award.
2005 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia University women’s cross country finished second at the PAC Championships.
Senior Amy Bower ended her career by winning her second PAC championship. She broke her own school record (18:30) in the process. Mindy Ditzler finished 11th to earn second-team All-PAC honors.
Despite competing with a stress fracture, Bower earned all-region status with a 16th-place finish at the NCAA Mideast Regional meet.
Bower was named team MVP and freshman Sarah Martin earned the Coach’s Award.
2004 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country finished fourth at the PAC Championships with Amy Bower finishing second at the PAC’s.
Bower became the first All-American with a fourth place finish at regionals and a 17th place finish at the NCAA Championships.
Bower was named MVP with Mindy Ditzler taking home the Coach’s Award.
Bethany Shoaf was honored as a four-year letter winner.
2003 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country team snapped their three-year title streak as they finished second at the PAC Championships.
Amy Bower became the first MU runner to win the PAC individual title setting a meet record in the process. She also finished sixth at the NCAA Mideast Regional meet and became CM’s first NCAA qualifier in cross country. Bower ran the seven fastest times in school history.
Jamie O’Connor and Natalie Bedio were second-team All-PAC selections. O’Connor received the Coach’s Award with Bower taking home the MVP.
O’Connor and Colleen Lawruk were honored as four-year letter winners.
2002 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country team won the PAC championship for the third straight season.
Amy Bower was the PAC runner-up and became the school’s first All-Region runner. Bower set a school record at the PAC championship meet.
Allyson Johnson joined Bower on the first-team All-PAC, while Meaghan Hession made second-team. Johnson also received MVP. Beth Arminavage earned the Coach’s Award. Frank Kinkead was also name PAC Coach-of-the-Year.
Arminavage and Hession were honored as four-year letter winners.
2001 Women's Cross Country
The women’s cross country team won the PAC championship for the second straight season. Rookie Head Coach Frank Kinkead won PAC Coach of the Year.
Meagan Hession finished fourth overall at the PAC championships and earned first-team All-PAC honors along with Allyson Johnson. Katie Maddalena and Beth Arminavage were second-team All-PAC.
Hession ran the second and third fastest times in school history. She was also named team MVP and Colleen Lawurk earned the Coach’s Award.
2000 Women's Cross Country
The women’s team won its first ever PAC cross-country championship. Head Coach Bill Reznak was named PAC Coach of the Year.
Meaghan Hession recorded the highest individual finish ever for a Misericordia runner with a second-place finish at the PAC championship meet. Jamie O’Connor joined Hession as a first-team All-PAC with a 7th-place finish.
Beth Arminavage, Kelly Nye and Megan O’Boyle were second-team All-PAC. Hession recorded the third fastest time in school history at the PAC championship. She ran the third fastest time in school history at the NCAA regional meet.
Nye was honored as a four-letter award winner.
1999 Women's Cross Country
The women’s team finished third at the PAC championship. The team’s hosted the third Annual Misericordia Invitational.
Freshman Beth Arminvage earned All-PAC status (6th place) and was the women’s team MVP. Jana Hart received the Coach’s Award.
Hart and Jen Holmes were recognized as four-year letterman, the first in the history of the women’s program.
1998 Women's Cross Country
In the second annual Misericordia Invitational, the women finished second. Heather Glunk set a school record for 5k at 20:05, she also finished 9th in the PAC meet and was the women’s team MVP. Jen Holmes received the Coach’s Award.
1997 Women's Cross Country
The women’s team finished second in the PAC for the third year in a row. The women along with men team hosted the first-ever Misericordia Invitational with the women edging out Marywood for first place.
Kelley Nye earned All-PAC status with sixth-place finish. Nye was the team MVP and Jana Hart earned the Coach’s Award.
Hart, Jen Holmes, Nye represented the women’s cross-country team at the NCAA Division III Mideast Regional meet.
1996 Women's Cross Country
The Misericordia women’s cross country team finished second in the PAC for the second consecutive year.
Joanna Lennon earned All-PAC status with a fifth-place finish. She became the first Misericordia athlete to letter in two sports simultaneously.
Lisa McCarty finished ninth at the PAC meet and won the team MVP. Christy Dreabit won the Coach’s Award for the second straight year.
1995 Women's Cross Country
1995 Marked the first time in more than a decade that College Misericordia had cross country as a varsity sport.
The team hosted the first home meet in school history and earned their first win over Cedar Crest and Eastern on Parent’s Day.
Rookie head coach Bill Reznak was named women’s coach of the year honors in the PAC. Tricia Hoff and Shea Foulkrod were both named All-PAC.
The women’s team finished second in the PAC in their first season.
