Misericordia University Athletics

Danika Watto is in her third season as an assistant field hockey coach at Misericordia University.

A four-year letter-winner and three-year starter, she led the Cougars to back-to-back MAC Freedom championship games in 2014 and 2015. Watto was a second-team All-Freedom defender as a senior and received the Coach’s Award as a junior.

A student in MU’s physical therapy doctoral program, Watto was named to the MAC Academic Honor Roll and appeared in the National Field Hockey Coach’s Association Senior All-Star game.
