Joelle Butrico is in her second season as a graduate assistant coach with the Misericordia University field hockey team.
She is a graduate of Montclair State where she earned her bachelor’s degree in Justice Studies and received the David Dodd Award for the highest GPA in her field of study.
Butrico was a three-year starter at back for the Red Hawks and served as team captain as a senior.
She helped the Red Hawks to two NJAC championships and three deep NCAA Tournament runs, including a national runner-up finish in 2012.
Butrico had a team-high six defensive saves as a senior.
