Sam Partington is in her second season as an assistant field hockey coach at her alma mater.

A four-year starter on defense, she was the team MVP as a senior after guiding the Cougars to a MAC Freedom championship and a trip to the NCAA Tournament.

She was named second-team All-MAC Freedom as a junior and senior.
