Patrick Vogelsang is in his second year as a member of the Misericordia University football coaching staff where he serves as the quarterbacks coach.
Previously, he coached quarterbacks and outside linebackers during an undefeated 2020 season at West Essex (NJ) High School.
Vogelsang also served as offensive coordinator at Morris Catholic (NJ) and helped the team to its first Division Championship (2019) and first playoff win in three decades.
He has also spent time as offensive coordinator at Zephyr Hills and Bayside high schools in Florida and led both programs to the playoffs.
Vogelsang worked with the offensive line and tight ends at the Florida Institute of Technology and helped the squad to an upset win over #1 ranked West Georgia.
At Washington Union HS in Fresno, California, Vogelsang coordinated the special teams for the undefeated 2011 California Division III state champions.
Vogelsang’s coaching career began at Golden West HS in Visalia, CA.
He played football at San Pasqual High School in Escondido, CA and he graduated from Fresno State with a degree in history. He has a master’s in educational leadership from Montclair State University.
Patrick resides in Scranton with his wife Ashton and daughter Vienna.
