Misericordia University Athletics

Zach Orzell is in his first season as an assistant football coach at Misericordia University.
 
A four-year letterman for the Cougars, he will coach defensive backs and kick returners and will serve as an assistant strength and conditioning coach.
 
He was a starting defensive back on the 2018 and 2019 teams that garnered back-to-back postseason berths.
 
Orzell earned his bachelor’s degree in healthcare management and is currently pursuing his doctorate in physical therapy from MU.
