Christine Rieth

Christine Rieth has joined the Misericordia University men's and women's swimming programs as a graduate assistant coach.

A Webster, NY native, Rieth spent the past four years at SUNY New Paltz, where she was a two-time All-American as a member of the women's swimming team.

During her time at New Paltz, Rieth became the first female swimmer in school history to compete at the NCAA Championships three times. Following her senior season, she was honored by the SUNYAC conference with the Grace Mowatt Award, given to a senior who has achieved both in the pool and in the classroom.

She also was a 10-time SUNYAC conference champion and holds six school records.

Rieth earned a BS in Finance and a BA in Geography from SUNY New Paltz in 2012 and is currently pursuing her master's in organization management from Misericordia.
