Kaitlin Redling is in her first season as assistant softball coach at Misericordia University where she is a physical therapy doctoral student.
A native of Flemington, NJ, Redling was Misericordia’s 2022 Winter Commencement Valedictorian when she earned her bachelor’s degree in biology with a minor in chemistry.
During her playing career, Redling was a 2023 third-team NFCA All-America selection and led the MAC Freedom in batting average (.476) in 2022.
She was a four-year starter, a four-time first-team All-MAC Freedom, three-time NFCA All-Region selection and three-time CoSIDA Academic All-District selection.
She ranks first all-time in Misericordia’s career on-base percentage (.522), third in career walks (80), fourth in career doubles (45), fourth in career slugging percentage (.681), fifth in career batting average (.423), T-9 in career home runs (17), second in career putouts (973), eighth in career fielding percentage (.993).
Redling also ranks in the top-10 single-season records in batting average, walks, on-base percentage, slugging percentage, home runs, putouts, fielding percentage, and total chances/errors.
