Miscericordia Cougars

Nancy Lane is in her first season as an assistant softball coach at Misericordia University.

She earned a bachelor's degree in recreation from the University of Oklahoma, where she was a four-year member of the Sooners softball team as a pitcher, first baseman, and outfielder.

Lane holds a master's degree in health and physical education from East Stroudsburg, where she served as a graduate assistant.

She was the pitching coach and head coach at Orange County Community College in Middletown, NY in 1988.

She was named a 1978 high school All-American at Port Jervis Senior High School in New York, compiling a 57-12 career record and was featured in Sports Illustrated's Faces in the Crowd.

Lane is recently retired after working 25 years for the Pennsylvania Department of Corrections.
