Frank Redmond ’11 has joined the Misericordia University athletics staff as the graduate assistant for cross country and track & field. Redmond was a Sport Management major at MU and will be pursuing a Masters in Business Administration.
Redmond became the first-ever All-American in Misericordia track & field history when he took fifth-place in the 800m at the 2010 Division III outdoor championship meet.
For his career, Redmond was a three-time NCAA qualifier in the 800m- in 2009, 2010 and 2011. He was the 2011 ECAC indoor champion at 800m, and won the event at the 2010 MAC indoor championships.
Redmond was also a standout in cross country, earning four All-Conference selections and being named team MVP all four years.
