John Gorham is in his fifth year as the head assistant coach of sprints, hurdles, and jumps of the men’s and women’s track & field teams.

An alumnus of Penn State University, he earned his bachelor’s degree in kinesiology. He earned his master’s degree in administration from Wilkes University. He currently works as the assistant principal for the Greater Nanticoke Area High School.

As an athlete at Penn State, Gorham was a four time All-American in the long jump. In 2004 he competed in the Olympic Trials. He has a personal best of 25’ 11 ½”.
