Misericordia University Athletics

Jessica Rini is in her fourth season as the women's basketball head coach for Misericordia University.

In the 2025-26 season, Rini led the Cougars to a 13-12 record including a four-game win streak to end the season.

Rini has coached three All-MAC Freedom players in her tenure.

Rini was the graduate assistant women’s basketball coach at Misericordia University for two years. 

Prior to MU, Rini graduated from Mount Saint Mary College with a bachelor’s degree in business administration with a concentration in sports management. 

Rini totaled 1,111 points and 732 rebounds in four seasons with the Knights. She spent two seasons as a captain and led the team in scoring during her sophomore, junior and senior years. She garnered All-Skyline first team distinction three times as a forward.
