Misericordia University Athletics

Madi Welliver is in her second season as a member of the Misericordia women’s soccer coaching staff after joining the staff in January of 2023.
 
In her two years with the Cougars, Welliver has helped Misericordia capture their third and fourth consecutive MAC Freedom titles and advance to the NCAA tournament in both seasons.
 
Welliver was a member of the Misericordia women’s soccer team in the fall of 2022 as a fifth year transfer. The starting goalkeeper was named to the United Soccer Coaches Region IV All-Region first-team and All-MAC Freedom second-team. Welliver helped lead the team to the NCAA Tournament Section Final after capturing a MAC Freedom title.
 
The Turbotville, Pennsylvania native graduated from Susquehanna University in 2021 with a degree in Early Childhood Education and Special Education. During her time at Susquehanna, she was a member of the women’s soccer team and women’s basketball team. She was named to the United Soccer Coaches All-Region third-team and was the 2019 Landmark Conference Defensive Player of the Year.
