Sydney Sands is in her second season as the graduate assistant for women’s volleyball. 

Sands graduated from Marymount University in 2024 with a degree in political science and minor in business and information technology.

A Chandler, Arizona native, Sands was a member of the Saints women’s volleyball team for four years. She was named second-team All-Atlantic East in 2021 and Specialty Player of the Week in 2021. 

In addition, she was an assistant coach for the U16 Elite Team at Viriginia Elite Volleyball Club for the 2023-24 season.
