Tara Sinclair

Tara Coletti-Sinclair ’01 is in her 23rd season as head coach of the Misericordia University cheerleading team and her first season as head coach of the MU STUNT team.
 
She has led the Cougars to five consecutive Middle Atlantic Conference championships in the Game Day Routine Division. The MU cheer team has also won the MAC championship in the Traditional Routine for the past three years (2022-24). 
 
Sinclair’s efforts have helped establish the program as a top competitor annually at UCA’s College National Cheerleading Championships.  The Cougars have been the top DIII team in the Game Day Routine for their past six appearances at the event in Orlando, FL, and earned a national runner-up finish in 2018.
 
A graduate of Misericordia, Sinclair holds a BA in English and Secondary Education.  She earned her Master’s Degree in Instructional Technology from Wilkes University. 

Sinclair is a former instructor for Eastern Cheer and Dance Association where she served as head instructor for cheerleading camps on the east coast.  She also served on ECDA’s curriculum staff and choreographed summer material for the company.  During her time with the company, she served as a halftime instructor for several bowl games, including the Capital One Bowl and the Pro Bowl.  Several of her routines have won national titles and she currently provides choreography to competitive cheer programs.
