Taylor Alba joined the Misericordia University field hockey program as an assistant coach in July, 2022. 
 
Prior to her coaching at Misericordia, Alba was a midfielder/forward at Temple University where she started more than 40 games during her four-year career.
 
She helped Temple to their first Big East Tournament appearance in over five years in 2021 and was third on the team in goals scored as a senior. Alba was also part of the Leadership Team during her senior year. 
 
A Dallas, PA, native, Alba attended nearby Lake-Lehman High School where she was a four- year starter. While at Lake-Lehman, she was a three-time first-team all-state selection, four-time WVC All-Star, a MAX Field Hockey Top 50 player in the Class of 2017 and was named WVC Field Hockey Player of the Year by the Citizens Voice and Times Leader newspapers. Alba was also the team captain her junior and senior seasons. 
 
Taylor has spent time coaching at Misericordia and Lake-Lehman High School, as well as clinics/camps during her time at Temple. 
 
Alba graduated from Temple with a bachelor’s of science degree in marketing from the Fox School of Business in 2021.
