Melanie Fry is a senior member of the field hockey and track and field teams at Misericordia University where she plays in the midfield and runs sprints.

A physically therapy major from Ambler, PA, she is a 2014 graduate of Wissahickon High School where she lettered in both field hockey and track and field.

Since arriving in Dallas, she has been an integral part of the both the field hockey and track and field teams.

On the field, she has been a four-year starter and has played in 80 games, good enough for fourth in program history (through Nov. 1, 2017.)Â Â Fry has racked up 19 points (5g, 9a) in her career and helped lead the team to its first ever field hockey MAC Freedom championship in 2015.

On the track, Fry is an eight-time MAC Champion, winning the 4x400 relay at 2015, 2016,2017 Indoor Championships, the 4x400 relay at the 2015 and 2016 Outdoor Championships, the 4x200 relay at the 2015 and 2017 Indoor Championships, and the 4x100 relay at the 2016 Outdoor championships.

She also ran in the 4x400 relay at the 2015 NCAA Indoor Championships.
