Jaclyn Hajec is a senior guard on the Misericordia women’s basketball team. A medical imaging major from Utica, NY, she is a graduate of Notre Dame High School and is also a member of the women’s golf team at MU. Playing in 80 games as a member of the Cougars, Hajec has been an integral part of the team, starting in 36 games and helping a fuel an 18-win improvement from her first year to her junior year. In her sophomore season, she recorded her first career double-double, scoring 10 points and pulling down 10 rebounds in a win over Lycoming. During her junior season, she scored a career-high 21 points in a victory over Gwynedd Mercy and scored 18 points off the bench against DeSales in the MAC Freedom semifinals.
