Misericordia University Athletics

Josh Dieter is a senior member of the Misericordia University football team.

A three-year letterman, the Allentown native started all 10 games at wide receiver last season and has appeared in four games this season.

Dieter has totaled 482 career receiving yards with seven touchdowns. Last season, he had 26 catches for 328 yards and six touchdowns.

In the 2017 season opener against the United States Merchant Marine Academy, Dieter set a program record with three touchdown receptions.  The former Parkland High School standout hauled in a career-best seven receptions for 142 yards on that day.

He tied the mark later in the season with three more TD catches against King’s.

He entered the season tied with teammate Sam Gillison with a school-record six touchdown catches.

This season, Dieter has tallied three catches for 39 yards with six punt returns for 31 yards.

The Cougars are off to their best start in program history with a 4-1 overall record and currently tied for first place in the MAC at 3-0.
