Leanne Forsyth is a senior member of the Misericordia University women’s basketball team.

A four-year letter winner, the Staten Island, NY native has appeared in every game this season as a key piece off the Cougars’ bench. Forsyth has collected 5.6 points and 3.6 rebounds while averaging 16.2 minutes per contest. 

The former Notre Dame Academy standout scored a season-high 13 points with four rebounds and three assists in the Cougars 82-35 victory over Marywood on Nov. 28.

As a sophomore, Forsyth averaged a career-best 4.6 points with 3.0 rebounds and 2.6 assists per game, which was seventh best in the MAC Freedom. During that same season, the guard netted a career-best 20 points with nine rebounds, five assists and three steals at Wilkes University on Jan. 25, 2017.

This year, the women’s basketball team is off to a perfect 7-0 start with a 26.4 average margin of victory.
