Alexa Monro is a senior outside hitter on the Misericordia University women’s volleyball team and is a member of the women’s golf team.
An accounting major Kinnelon, New Jersey, she has appeared in 81 career matches.
Primarily used as a server, Monro has 125 career service aces.
As a first-year, she recorded 58 aces, tied for 10th-highest in a season in school history and third-most in a player’s first year.
She had 13 aces in a win over Penn College in 2018 and was named MAC Freedom Defensive Player of the Week in September, 2019 after recording 56 digs during the Rowan Invitational. She also finished the tournament with 11 aces.
Monro has made the MAC Academic Honor Roll as a member of both the volleyball and golf team.
