Misericordia University Athletics

Jason Winters is a senior on the Misericordia University swim team.  He specializes distance events.

A physical therapy major from Palmer, Pennsylvania, Winters has served as a team captain during the 2021-22 season.

At the MAC Championships, he broke his own school record in the 500-yard freestyle with a time of 4:49.35 on the way to a seventh-place finish.

He added a fifth-place finish in the 1650 free and set another school record at 16:52.65.

Winters was also eighth in the 400 IM.

He helped the Cougars to an 8-2 record during the regular season, including a 4-1 record in the Anderson Center.

Winters has been named to MAC Academic Honor Roll.
