Griffin Sponaugle is senior member of the Misericordia University men’s basketball team. A four-year letterman, Sponaugle is a three-year starter at guard and recently went over the 1,000 point mark for his career.
He has been part of two MAC Freedom championships and two berths in the NCAA Tournament. Sponaugle was a second-team All-MAC performer as a junior.
A sport management major from Hershey, PA, he ranks third in school history with 211 three-pointers and three-point percentage at 38.6.
He is tied for eighth with 257 career assists and tied for 10th in free-throw percentage at 75.0.
Sponaugle made 71 three-pointers as a junior, tied for the sixth-highest single-season total in school history, and his 43.3% in 2015-16 is the fifth-best in school history.
