Dom Del Prete scored 16 points to lead the Misericordia University men's basketball team to a 62-52 win over Marywood, Monday night at the Anderson Center.

Matt Hornak added 14 points and eight rebounds as the Cougars improved to 11-6 overall and 5-3 in the PAC.

Del Prete scored 14 of his points in the second half as the Cougars overcame a six-point deficit, 27-21, with 17:24 to play.

Hornak fueled the rally with seven consecutive points to give Misericordia a 28-27 lead and Andy Smith added seven points off the bench in four-minute span for a 36-31 advantage with 11:12 to go.

Robbie Johnson had six points and Evan Donegan had five as the Misericordia bench outscored Marywood's, 23-4.

The Cougars are 11-6 overall and 5-3 in the PAC and will host Eastern Saturday afternoon.
