The Misericordia University women's soccer team beat rival King's College 4-2 Tuesday night to capture their first conference win of the season. Forward Kim Suchoski led the charge with two goals in the first half.

The Cougars trusted Suchoski throughout the match. She was allowed to take eight shots, and she scored on two of them. She came close to a hat trick late in the game when she banked a shot off the left post.

Suchoski was the first to score. At 39:52, she pounded the ball into the left side of the goal. At 33:54, she followed up with a second. Suchoski now has four goals on the season.

Forward Morgan Hill assisted the first. She leads the team with three total assists.

The Lady Monarchs could not retaliate until the second half when forward Becky Chateauneuf laced a shot through a heavy pack of Cougar defenders at 62:15 to make it 2-1.

Cougar forward Lauren Payne retaliated with a score to center net at 65:24.

Chateauneuf repeated with her second goal of the night at 67:32 to the right of the net and brought the Monarchs back within a goal.
