The Misericordia University volleyball team was swept on the road by conference rival FDU-Florham Wednesday night by scores of 25-18, 25-22 and 25-20.

Michelle DiCicco led the Cougars offense with seven kills.  Rachel Hullinger had five kills on the night. Jesse Karger contributed 10 assists, and Meghan Hotaling added another seven.

Amy Porambo raked 17 digs to increase her team leading count to 302. She stands in second in the school record books with 1,445 in her career.

Karger added 10 digs and Hullinger another 11. DiCicco smashed two solo blocks. She has a team-leading 20 this season.

The team heads to the Hampton Inn Crusader Classic this weekend to take on Susquehanna, Richard Stockton, York and Rowan.
